Description

We are looking for enthusiastic Front of House Apprentice to join our team at Muffin Break. Your duties will include: •Meeting and greeting customers. •Taking food and drink orders.•Building relationships with customers. •Preparation of drinks and some food. •Serving food and drinks. •Cash and Card handling. •Understanding our menus and products. •General duties – setting up/closing service. •Housekeeping dutiesYou will be required to serve customers promptly with a very friendly manner and to keep the café clean and tidy at all times. We are a busy Shopping Centre Café with very high cleaning standards. You will have a genuine love of great service and be able to work as part of a happy dynamic team. You should have exceptional customer service skills and an ability to interact with our customers.As an Apprentice you will be included on a Food and Beverage Qualification. Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.

Food and BeverageService Level 2Apprentices will gain a better understanding of excellent customer service in the service of both hotand cold food and beverages. Service hygiene, team working and food safety in the workplace are alsoincluded as part of this excellent front of house programme.
A cheerful flexible approach to work, smart appearance is essential.To be successful in this role you will need to be a hard worker with good communication skills and who is able to provide excellent customer service.
If the Apprenticeship is successfully completed there may be an opportunity for permanent employment within the business.The employer may look at increasing hours to the right applicant.
