Description
Apprentice Nursery Assistant to fit well within the team and learn skills on the job. Working with children from 0-4years at Busy Little Bees’s Nursery. Role includes the following duties: •Supporting senior with daily routines in the setting; contributing to the Health & Safety, safeguarding children in the setting•Supporting play & learning activities, providing care routines, •Supporting with observations and planning for children’s development progress, contributing and supporting nursery’s activities and events, working while training to Level 2 or Level 3 in Children’s Learning and Development (Early Years Educator)•Adhere to all policies and procedures in the setting•Supporting team to ensure Key Children’s folders are up-to-date and observations are conducted on a daily basis.•Attend staff meetings, parent’s evenings.•To undertake any other duties as may be required from time to time to meet the needs of the setting.•Liaising with parents and carers •Following Health and Safety at all times •Working as part of a team to set-up the rooms and clear down at the end of the day. As an Apprentice you will be included on a Children’s & Young Persons Workforce Apprenticeship. Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.

Ability to care for others, good communication skills to build relationships with children, parents, carers, team members, ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative.
GCSE English and maths at grade C plus or equivalent is preferred but not essential
