You will be employed by SEAC Recruitment Services Ltd (accredited Apprenticeship Training Agency) to complete an Advanced Business Apprenticeship on placement with 3M UK Plc based in Loughborough, Leicestershire.
This is an exciting opportunity to work and train within the dynamic Business Services Operations group in 3M. Your role will involve working on a wide variety of projects supporting our Marketing Administration and Sales Support team.
You will gain valuable training and develop a broad range of transferrable skills as well as a nationally recognised qualification (Business an Administration) enabling you to further your career. Activity will span across a number of different projects and involve working with a large number of different stakeholders. The defined job responsibilities will depend on the skills and qualities of the individual and may change to reflect their evolving capabilities and ambitions as well as the changing needs of the organisation.
Responsibilities may include:
•Producing marketing content through collaboration with our internal creative agency.
•Supporting marketing initiatives such as product launches and price changes.
•Administering promotional campaigns.
•Designing and executing internal and external surveys.
•Fulfilling customer requests for marketing content.
•Coordinating 3Ms presence at events and exhibitions.
•Research, reporting and analytical tasks.
Full training will be provided to include:
•The structure of the organisation and how to work with different teams and roles.
•Workplace conduct and compliance.
•Working to deadlines (workload prioritisation and communication).
•Setting up meetings and taking minutes.
•Office, telephone, email and meeting etiquette.
•Interacting with visitors and customers.
•Typing and setting up documents such as letters and reports.
•Using office equipment such as printers and photocopiers.
•Making travel arrangements.
Working Week: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am–4:45pm (some flexibility may be required)
