Why an Apprenticeship in Xerox?
Xerox has partnered with the National Apprenticeship Service and Estio Training to provide a structured Apprenticeship Programme. Apprentices will be mentored in a Customer Service Engineer role and receive on and off the job training to enable them to achieve a professional qualification.
The Apprenticeship Programme aims to provide the building blocks for future development in specialist or management roles within the Company and we have a proven track record of doing so!The Programme.
We are looking for 8 Apprentices to join us in September 2017. From day one of the Programme you will be performing a real job role within the Company.
You will be working in our Technical Service team and whilst based from one of our offices you will increasingly work in the field providing great service to our customers!
This means you will have the opportunity to contribute from the beginning of your Xerox career, as you will be placed at the sharp end of our organisation, with exposure to a core part of the Xerox business.
As part of the scheme you may undertake job rotations to other service teams. This will broaden business knowledge and place Apprentices in an ideal position to progress into an entry level management or specialist roles in their future career. Of course, you will have all the support you need to succeed with a network of mentors within the business throughout the three years.
This will all be supplemented by the professional qualifications delivered by our Training Provider, Estio Training. You will be required to travel to their training location, which will be fully expensed including overnight accommodation as required.
In blending your on-the-job training with a block release programme of study at Estio’s training centre, you will be able to achieve a Level 3 qualification in IT in the first 18 months, potentially moving towards completing a Level 4 qualification in the same discipline by the end of the year three.
