Description
Byker Hall Care Home has a fantastic Apprenticeship opportunity available for an individual who is interested in a career in the Care industry. As an Apprentice Care Assistant your duties will include:•To undertake all duties in relation to the wellbeing of residents, by ensuring the delivery of the highest possible standards of care in a professional manner. •To ensure residents physical and emotional needs, comfort and dignity are met and maintained and provided appropriate supporting care. •To provide personal care and attention to each resident, and to follow the activities of daily living in accordance with the plan of care. •Provide the required assistance with all dietary needs to ensure that esidents remain well-nourished and hydrated.•Promote residents welfare whilst working in partnership with their family and other professionals.•Carry out duties in line with company policies and equal opportunities, for example helping with social activities, escorting residents on outings, assisting at meal times and light domestic duties.As an Apprentice you will be included on a Health & Social Qualification. Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.
