Description

An excellent opportunity to learn all aspect of the hospitality industry at the newly refurbished Whichcote Arms. A traditional Coaching Inn dating back to 1864, located in the lovely Village of Osbournby on the A15. Role will include baking fresh pastries, serving coffees for breakfast meetings, preparing basic snacks and light lunches, supporting the chef with evenings meals. All aspects of bar work, including changing barrels, cleaning the pumps and serving customers. Whichcote Arms is currently renovating the guest accommodations and function room so will be a chance to learn about that side as well. As an Apprentice you will be included on a Hospitality Qualification. Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.

Good communication skills, Hard worker, Keen to learn and carry out all aspects of hospitality, Work well as part of a small team.
None required, just a passion to work in Hospitality, must complete Maths and English Functional skills to start Apprenticeship.
Intermediate Diploma in Hospitality Services.•Level 2 Diploma in Food and Beverage Service•Level 2 Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Principles•Level 1 Functional Skills in Maths and English This will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.
Well presented and good personal hygiene. Good time keeping, Outgoing personality, needs to be adaptable and able to work in a fast pace environment.
