Description

As an Apprentice Kitchen Porter you will work assisting the cooks with the food, you will also cover the following duties to keep the kitchen clean, tidy, safe and hygienic. Your duties will include:•sweeping and mopping floors •delivery of dinners between contracts •washing used cutlery, pots, pans and dishes •loading and unloading a dishwasher •putting clean items away •collecting waste and disposing of it safely •unloading deliveries of food and other equipment to the kitchen. •following all Health & Safety guidelines set by the company.As an Apprentice you will be included on an Cleaning & Support Services delivered by an award winning training provider. This will involve a vocational learning advisor coming out to visit you in the workplace on a regular basis to deliver the training, coach and observe you whilst you work and support you throughout the duration of your apprenticeship.
