Description
This role will involve whatever is needed in the kitchen and required of a chef. The following list highlights the main tasks/roles however is changeable and may well consist of more tasks than stated.• Food prep – all our food is fresh and homemade, prep will includeo breado soupso all menu disheso specials• Cooking Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner• Pot washing• Cleaning the kitchen• Stock rotation• Food hygiene records• Shadowing head chef and learning, ordering and pricing The role will require adherence to health and safety and food hygiene standards. There is a requirement for cleaning as you go. A fantastic opportunity to train as an Apprentice Chef!Role Highlights• Preparing and cooking menu to a high standard as per company specification• Monitoring and sorting of stock • Be able to read recipes and be able to prepare & cook the dishes as specified in the recipe• Ensure no foodstuff is unnecessarily wasted• Comply with hygiene and health and safety standards• Have a high standard of work practise and hygieneApprenticeship Highlights• You will gain a nationally recognised qualification in Food Production and Cooking at Level 2.
