The Green Welly Café are offering a fantastic opportunity to train as an Assistant Manager Apprentice!Your duties will include:• Managing standards within the cafe, such as food production and presentation, customer satisfaction, customer service and hygiene.• Good customer service is essential• Personal approach is important as there are many regular customers• Food ordering• Checking deliveries • Rotation of stock• Knowledge of cash register leading onto cashing up at the end of the day• Management of staff and rota’s.Apprenticeship Highlights• You will gain a nationally recognised qualification in Hospitality and Leadership level 3.As part of your Apprenticeship you will recieve:• Full support with training and development will be provided to prepare the candidate for the next step in their hospitality career. • The role of Apprentice Assistant Manager is to manage standards within the cafe, ensure • You will receive onsite training with an award winning training provider• Learn life skills What are we looking for?• Somebody who is reliable and career driven• Somebody who can work under their own initiative• Somebody able to work different shiftsYour learning and Development will be supported by your own Vocational Learning Advisor who will guide you throughout your Apprenticeship. • Good customer skills,• Experience in dealing with all walks of life. • Outgoing personality and • Team management skills• Adaptable and able to ’multi task’ in order to be able to deal with all aspects of both kitchen,serving counter and waiting on tables. • Management of staff.• Hygiene certificate required and food preparation experience.
Training and experience/Qualification in Hospitality industry.
Aside from the practical experience gained, you will also work towards a nationally recognised qualification. This is a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership.
