Lovely family run Icelandic pony stud has a vacancy for an apprentice to join their team, this is a very varied role, the yard breeds using their own stallion and produces and shows young stock. The client is willing to pay more for the right candidate.

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills maths and English

Skills required

Some experience with horses and ponies is essential for this role.

Personal Qualities

Someone that is hard working, keen and willing to learn.

Future prospects

Full time employment upon completion.

Additional Information

Training provided

Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon training.

NO accommodation so needs to be a local applicant that can drive due to rural location.
