Apprentice Chef required, Duties will include food preparation and cooking mainly.Role Highlights• Preparing and cooking menu to a high standard as per company specification• Monitoring and sorting of stock • Be able to read recipes and be able to prepare & cook the dishes as specified in the recipe• Ensure no foodstuff is unnecessarily wasted• Comply with hygiene and health and safety standards• Have a high standard of work practise and hygieneApprenticeship Highlights• You will gain a nationally recognised Level 2 Hospitality Team Member Apprenticeship, specialising in Food Production.Level 1 Functional Skills in Mathematics and EnglishEmployment Rights and Responsibilities Workbook(Work based learning you will be assessed by workplace visits). As part of your Apprenticeship you will learn how to:• Full support with training and development will be provided to prepare the candidate for the next step in their culinary career. • The role of Apprentice Chef is to provide support to the kitchen team in food preparation and cooking for breakfast, a la carte, events and other services.• You will receive onsite training with an award winning training provider• Learn life skillsWhat are we looking for?• Somebody who is reliable and career driven• Somebody who can work under their own initiative• Somebody able to work different shiftsYour learning and Development will be supported by your own Vocational Learning Advisor who will guide you throughout your ApprenticeshipBabcock is an award winning training provider

All Training will be given, must have a friendly approach as will com into contact with residents and family members
No qualifications needed as full training will be given and you will also gain a qualification. Willingness to learn and keen on working in a Hospitality Care Environment.
Level 2 Hospitality Team member - Food and beverage service
Must be reliable, hardworking, very good communicator. Working in a Kitchen environment you must have good personal hygene. You will be working in a kitchen with a small team where all food is prepard and cooked from scratch.
Good Prospects for the right candidate. At the end of the Apprenticeship you will hold a qualification and experience to attain further positions within Hospitality sector to attain work.
