Damian believes eating is based on a simple love to food, matched with great drinks and gently finished with friendly chat. He recently warmed hearts of over 3.6 million viewers via BBC - Mary Berry Easter Feast, he is also part of BBC Breakfast Club and widely demonstrating his Eastern European Culinary Roots around the world! Damian is also experienced in NOMA, he was Head Chef at London 2012 Olympics and won culinary accolades for his culinary craft. The restaurant has just been nominated for Best New Restaurant in the UK by Eat Out Magazine so now is the perfect time to join this hard working and enthusiastic team.

Detailed Job Description

  • To assist in the preparation, cooking and finishing within the kitchen
  • To ensure prompt and accurate production of meals with timely service
  • To follow menu’s and use a range of specialist ingredients when necessary
  • Use appropriate kitchen equipment as required
  • Help to clean any equipment within your remit following health and hygiene and food safety legislation and procedures
  • Assist colleagues in setting-up and closing the kitchen
  • Assist with completing kitchen documentation
  • Ensure high standards of personal appearance and hygiene are up kept to ensure company representation is up held
  • Assist in ordering stock and wastage control
  • Work as part of a team deliver high standards of customer service at all times

Qualifications required

Good standard of Numeracy and Literacy

Skills required

  • A willingness to learn and have a passion and creative flair for food presentation
  • A positive attitude and sense of humour
  • Take pride in work and attention to detail
  • Have an approachable manner with both customers and colleagues be willing to work within a team and support others

Personal Qualities

  • Good time keeping and can prioritise work load
  • Honest and trustworthy
  • Good standard of personal hygiene, presentation and time management skills
