Description

We offers the highest quality livery and training service situated in West Sussex. It is owned and run by experienced fully BHS qualified professionals & BHS qualified staff. Our focus is to ensure that your horse has the best quality of training and care to develop its potential. We welcome all levels of riders from the professional competition rider to the non competitive rider.

General duties to include;

  • Mucking out
  • Turning out/bringing in
  • Tack cleaning
  • Tacking up
  • Feeding
  • Filling hay nets
  • Clipping/pulling/plaiting/trimming
  • Bathing
  • Rug changing
  • Paddock maintenance
  • Schooling
  • Riding
  • First aid
  • Exercising horses from the ground (lunging, horse walker, long reining, pessoa training etc.)
  • Holding for vet/farrier/dentist

Experience with Horses is an advantage
Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills maths and English
Full training provided through the Equine Apprenticeship by Haddon Training
