Description

The Barge and Bottle has an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our friendly hardworking team. We are looking for somebody who is willing to learn and has the want to develop and succeed within the hospitality industry.The job role will involve but not limited to:•Customer service•Cash & payment handling•Preparing and serving drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic)•Taking customer orders both at the bar and at the table•Serving food to customers•General cleaning duties•Ensuring smooth professional and effortless service at all times•Being a key team member at all times.Full training will be given as part of the work place induction process and you will be supervised whilst on shift. We are looking for the right person to train and develop to become part of our busy team. As an Apprentice you will be included on a Hospitality Team Member Qualification specialising in Food and Beverage Service. Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.

Previous experience great but is not essential. You must be hard working , honest, punctual and have the ability to be able to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
No qualifications are required as full training will be given.
Aside from the experience gained in this role, the successful applicant will work towards a nationally recognised qualification, in this case it is: Level 2 Hospitality Team Member specialising in Food and Beverage Service.
To be successful in this role you will need to be a hard worker with good communication skills and who is able to provide excellent customer service. You will need an outgoing personality and plenty of common sense, be reliable & punctual.
Upon successful completion of trial period the hourly wage rate will be reviewed and increased accordingly.Upon full completion of the apprenticeship (including all learning and work set by VLA ) a potential permanent position may be made availble to the right candidate.
