Detailed Job Description

  • Prepare valuation reports and meeting packs for each planned meeting
  • Arrange Appointments and confirm appointments by letter
  • Sort all incoming post and dispatch evening post
  • Answer telephone calls within 3 rings taking messages as and when appropriate
  • Chase pipeline business using intranet and/or liaising with the Administration Centre to ensure business is issued
  • Ensure all case administration is completed including collation of paperwork and business submission
  • Perform all administrative duties associated with seminars and other marketing as required (Quarterly Investors, Christmas Cards and Hampers)
  • Complete any general administrative tasks such as typing and photocopying as directed by the Practice Manager

Future prospects

Upon completion of the apprenticeship, this company will be looking to keep the apprentice on full time. There will also be the potential to progress onto higher level apprenticeships.

Additional Information

Training provided

Full on-the-job training and support will be provided to enable the successful applicant to undertake the full range of duties required of the role.

In addition, training will also be provided towards the Apprenticeship in Business Administration Level 2 through in-house delivery.

The Business Administration Level 2 consists of the following:

  • Level 2 NVQ in Business Administration
  • Technical certificate
  • Employment Rights and Responsibilities
  • Functional Skills in Literacy and Numeracy
