Detailed Job Description

Will be helping out in the Property Management department and Survey department. You will learn about and develop skills in:

  • Acting as the face of Beals and being smart, polite and professional at all times.
  • Managing the switchboard and directing calls to the right department.
  • Welcoming and responding to inquiries from members of the public by manning the reception desk.
  • General admin including copying, filing and data entry
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post
  • Being a proactive member of the team, willing to learn and take on Adhoc duties.

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

GCSE (or equivalent) grades A*- C in English, Maths and ICT

Skills required

  • A high standard of communication skills at all levels, both written and oral
  • Demonstrate a confident telephone manner and excellent customer service
  • A team player with the added ability to use your own initiative
  • Good organisational skills and time management
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Personal Qualities

  • Reliable

  • Must have a positive attitude
  • Have a desire to learn and progress
  • Bubbly and chatty

Future prospects

Excellent prospect of permanent employment will follow successful completion of the course. Level 3 possible.

Additional Information

Training provided

You will work towards 4 mandatory units and choose optional units. These will be selected by both you and the employer making sure the units are relevant to the job you are undertaking. Level 2 Diploma in Business and Administration and Functional Skills include:-Maths Level 1, English Level 1 and ICT Level 1. An Employment Rights & Responsibilities workbook will be completed. Personal Learning and development.
