Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to earn whilst you learn with an award winning provider whilst working at The Midway Truck Shop! You will be required to work as part of a small team and full training would be given to allow you to work in both kitchen and front of house based tasks.Your duties will include;•Meet and greet customers•Serving food and preparing hot and cold drinks•Ensure the customer’s needs are met at all times•Process card and cash payments •Maintain the highest levels of customer service •Keep tables and work surfaces clean and tidy•Table relaying and clearing• Assisting the Chef with food preparations for service•Preparing and serving food orders•Completing daily kitchen cleaning tasks to maintain a high level of hygiene•Adhere to all health and safety laws and licensing laws.Full training will be given as part of the work place induction process and you will be supervised whilst on shift. We are looking for the right person to train and develop to become part of our busy team. As an Apprentice you will be included on a Hospitality Team Member Qualification specialising in Food and Beverage Service. Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.

Must be:• Good listener; • Confident communicator; • Able to follow instructions.
No specific qualifications required as full training is to be given. However basic maths and English skills are desirable.
Aside from the experience gained in this role, the successful applicant will work towards a nationally recognised qualification, in this case it is: Level 2 Hospitality Team Member specialising in Food and Beverage Service.
We are looking for someone who is a hard worker, confident when dealing with customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
There is a possibility of permanent employment for the right candidate. Pay will be reviewed after 3 months and is dependant on performance.
