Description
As an Apprentice Chef you will be working alongside an experienced Chef, your duties will include:
Maintain a safe, hygienic and secure working environment
Work effectively as part of a hospitality team
Maintain food safety when preparing, storing and cooking food
Maintain, handle and clean knives
Cook and finish basic meat dishes
Cook and finish basic vegetable dishes
Prepare and present food for cold presentation
Complete kitchen documentation
Set up and close kitchen

We are looking for an individual with a passion for cooking fresh food who is creative, hardworking, can take instruction and is prepared to learn.
4 GCSE’s at grades A*- D including Maths and English (or equivalent).
NVQ Level 2 Professional Cookery.
Technical Certificate Level 2 in Professional Cookery.
Functional Skills Level 1 in English and Maths.
Employment Rights and Responsibilities.
Must be motivated and able to work as part of a small team.
Will lead to permanent job.
