Such needs may be medical/therapeutic (for physical and mental welfare), cultural, psychological, spiritual, emotional and social. Residents are encouraged to participate in the development of their individualised Care Plans in which the involvement of family and friends may be appropriate and is greatly valued.You would be expected to carry out various duties which will include:Role Highlights Provide attention when needed, whilst ensuring Clients retain their comfort and dignityClosely monitor Clients who may be confused and / or who have behavioural problemsHelping out in the unit to support your Team to cover holidays, absence etc.Pay particular attention to assisting Clients who have limited mobility, making the best use of aids providedEnsure the Home’s resources are used appropriatelyMake and change beds, ensuring that rooms are clean and tidy, and commodes are empty, in line with the Home’s disposal of waste policyApprenticeship HighlightsYou will learn to give yourself and your Customers a positive impression of the Health SectorYou will learn about Employment rights within this IndustryYou will gain a nationally recognised NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social CareYour own Vocational Learning Advisor to guide you through the ApprenticeshipWhat are we looking for?Someone who has a practical approach, customer focused, flexible when it comes to shiftsRewards and BenefitsSuccessful completion of a probationary period and completion of the Apprenticeship programme will allow the candidate to be trained on further areas within the business and the next position on the succession plan could lead to a supervisory positionYour training will be carried out with Babcock, an award winning Training Provider, who will support your Learning & Development throughout your Apprenticeship
