As a Horticulture Apprentice you will work to establish, cultivate, manage and retail plants. Your duties will be mainly on the growing and production of healthy plants and will involve working mainly outdoors.
Rasell’s Nurseries is a small family business, which is a family business run in partnership by Tim Rasell and his Daughter Claire, growing and stocking a wide range of trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants including more rare and unusual species. All of our friendly staff offer helpful advice to customers on how to care for the plants or what might be the right plant for their needs. Alongside the plants the nursery also stocks all the necessary products required for practical gardening. Customers are welcome to come and look around the beds and borders to see for the pride that Tim and his team take in producing quality plants, many of which are grown in the gardens around the nursery. No other retail garden nursery in the local area offers such an extensive collection of top quality, nursery grown, ornamental and fruiting plants.
