Description

Apprentice Nursery Assistant to fit well within the team and learn skills on the job working with children from 0-4years at Little Rising Stars Childcare LTDSome of the duties you will undertake will include: Supervising children’s play and learning activities Supporting children’s hygiene routines Completing children’s learning and development files to a high standard Assisting at meal times and with feeding Contributing to planned programmes of activities Liaising with parents and carers Following Health and Safety at all times Working as part of a team to set-up the rooms and clear down at the end of the dayAs an Apprentice you will be included on a Children’s & Young Persons Workforce Apprenticeship. Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.

Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative.
GCSE English and maths at grade C plus or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
Intermediate Diploma in Children and Young People’s WorkforceLevel 2 Certificate for the Children and Young Peoples WorkforceLevel 1 Functional Skills in Mathematics, English and ICTEmployment Rights and Responsibilities Workbook (Work based learning)

After successful completion of the Level 2 Apprenticeship, there is a possibility of a full time position.
