Description
Rizzoli are looking for a Front of House Apprentice to join their dedicated team. Rizzoli is a Prosecco bar based in the Intu Victoria Shopping Centre, Nottingham, serving food and drink throughout the day. You will work with the manager and team to learn every aspect of the business. Duties will include: Meeting and greeting guestsWaiting on, taking orders, serving food and drinks to customersClear and clean tablesBar duties, serving drinks, restocking fridges, stock rotationMaintain the cleanliness of the trading areas and ensure correct procedure is followed for all equipment usedTaking bookings, dealing with enquiriesHandle cash and credit card transactionsAdhere to health & safety policiesAssisting with the storage of deliveriesPotential food preparation. As an Apprentice Hospitality Assistant you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and serving food and drinks to customers in a friendly and professional manner and communicating with bar and kitchen staff. You will be included on a Hospitality Qualification, this will involve a Regional Trainer who will visit you on a regular basis, to deliver the training and coach the Apprentice and will be observing whilst you work. Level 2 Hospitality Team Member ApprenticeshipApprenticeship standards are aimed at developing skills within the Apprentices’ chosen career route, each standards has set knowledge, skills and behaviours required to be successful within the job role. This will include the completion of functional skills in Maths and English. Once the apprentice has completed a minimum of 12 months training and the employer and Babcock regional trainer confirm they have met all the requirements of the standard they will be put through to end point assessment. The end point assessment is independent from the training and includes a variety of assessment methods which test the skills and knowledge of the apprentice to ensure they are fully competent in their role. Each Apprentice will be supported throughout the apprenticeship by a structured programme of teaching, e-learning, face to face training and workplace mentoring; this will encourage and help them to meet the requirements of the new standards and will prepare them for the end of point assessment.
You must be sociable, motivated to work and able to speak to the public.
After completion of Apprenticeship Possible Promotion depending on Availability. Owner also has another bar in the midlands and possible expansion to a third next year so potential for promotion across the business.
