Detailed Job Description

. An incredible opening, offering a 1st class insight to training the dressage horse, competing, starting young horses, sales liveries , remedial schooling ,teaching plus the mechanics of horses industry. General duties to include; Mucking out Turning out/bringing in Tack cleaning Tacking up Feeding Filling hay nets Clipping/pulling/plaiting/trimming Bathing Rug changing Paddock maintenance Schooling Riding First aid Exercising horses from the ground (lunging, horse walker, long reining, pessoa training etc.) Holding for vet/farrier/dentist

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

The ability to work towards L1 Functional skills or higher in Maths and English

Skills required

Some Experience would be beneficial as there is plenty of riding available

Personal Qualities

Hard Working, loyal, friendly and a willingness to learn

Future prospects

A full time position on completion of apprenticeship

Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training
