Dutie You will be working alongside existing staff and be mentored and trained to carry out the following duties

Develop, maintain and enhance scalable Business Intelligence Solutions to be used across Aviva UK Insurance

Use a variety of cutting edge analytics to resolve issues

Reporting on common trends

Assist in building digital services by using statistical techniques

Work on a variety of in house projects

Duties You will be working alongside existing staff and be mentored and trained to carry out the following duties

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

104 UCAS points achieved or predicted from September 2017 (equivalent to one “A” level at grade “B” in either Maths, Physics, IT, Biology, Chemistry and 2 “A” Levels at “C” grade in any other subject)

Minimum of 5 GCSE’s at grade A to C (Grades 4 – 9 from 2017) with three of those being in Maths, Science (s) and English.In Scotland – A minimum of 3 Highers

Skills required

Highly numerate

Ability and willingness to learn new concepts

Ability to work independently and capable of taking responsibility

Educated to A level standard or equivalent qualification; or, relevant working experienc

Ability to communicate effectively

Personal Qualities

Desire to learn and a keen interest in business, coding and data science

Future prospects

Upon completion of this apprenticeship programme, there are real progression opportunities available such as permanent full time employment.
