Detailed Job Description

Unbiased Finance (Pension Tracing Service) are looking for two apprentices to join their team to work under the direction, guidance and supervision of the senior members of the team and provide support to their pension tracing procedures. Daily duties will include:

  • Assisting the team with the daily administration of the office,
  • Scanning and filling documents,
  • Formatting data and content between Customer Relationship Management Software,
  • The first point of contact for candidates and clients,
  • Answering the phone,
  • Transferring calls/ taking messages,
  • Keeping all company records up to date,
  • Use of our in house systems on a daily basis.

The working week is Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm.

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

There are no qualifications required as full training is given throughout the apprenticeship.

Skills required

You must have good communication and timekeeping skills and have the ability to organise your own workload. You will need to have strong literacy skills.

Personal Qualities

You must be dedicated and willing to undertake an apprenticeship programme along with the relevant qualifications and be willing to complete the internal training on offer to support the role.

They are looking for someone with enthusiasm who can work as part of a team with an outgoing and friendly approach.

Future prospects

There may be an opportunity to progress onto a Level 3 apprenticeship upon successful completion of the Level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship or alternatively, full time employment.

With this apprenticeship you will complete the following qualifications:

  • Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration
  • Functional Skills in Maths, English & ICT
  • Employment Rights and Responsibilities
  • Personal Learning & Thinking Skills

All training will be delivered in the work place with no requirement for day release to college. You will be mentored by experienced members of staff while developing your skills to a nationally recognised industry standard.

The current Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW) is £3.50. This applies to 16 - 18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of the apprenticeship. For all other apprentices, the National Minimum Wage (NMW) appropriate to their age applies. ANMW applies to time spent on the job and time spent training. PLEASE NOTE that candidates who meet the employer's criteria will be put forward for interview as soon as possible.
