Duties You will be working alongside existing staff and be mentored and trained to carry out the following duties:

  • Hardware and software updates
  • Onsite desktop and IT support via both phone and email
  • Fix problems and provide additional support in relation to IT
  • Remote support
  • Utilise the ticketing system to record activity

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

Skills required

  • 5 GCSE’s A-C grades, including Math’s and English
  • Passion for IT
  • Great organisational and communication skills
  • Knowledge on Windows OS Hardware knowledge would be beneficial but not essential
  • Be able to take on new responsibilities and understand new technologies
  • Due to the remote location of this vacancy a full UK driving licence would be desirable but not essential

Upon completion of this apprenticeship programme, there are real progression opportunities available. Along with your employer, you may decide to progress onto our level 4 programme and take your training even further.
