The centre can also order genuine Nissan parts and accessories for your car. We also have Motability and business departments at the showrooms to help with any specific requirements. When you visit us, expect to be greeted by one of our friendly, helpful and knowledgeable team. You are free to explore the cars in your own time with the added benefit of free WiFi and complimentary refreshments in the waiting area. Detailed Job Description

An opportunity to become part of the Apprenticeship programme as a Parts Consultant. Supported throughout by an employer, this vacancy is for a 2 year apprenticeship that will resulting the successful candidate gaining an Advanced Apprenticeship in Vehicle Parts. As a Parts Apprentice you would be involved in a variety of tasks ranging from; · Dealing with Technicians, other companies and the general public · Answering the telephone · Taking orders · Ordering parts · Checking parts · Putting stock orders away.

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

GCSEs (or equivalent) grades A-C in Maths, English& Science

Please ensure you list all your qualifications, as lower grades may be considered.

Skills required

No specific skills required, however an interest in motor vehicles/parts would be beneficial.

Personal Qualities

Keen and enthusiastic

Able to work as part of a team

Good time keeping

Future prospects

Possibility of a permanent role within the business on completion of the Apprenticeship.

Training provided

This is a Parts Consultant Apprenticeship, which will be delivered on block release at the Apprentice Training Centre at Doncaster, S.Yorks. As a result you will receive the following qualification; Level 3 Certificate in Vehicle Parts Operations Functional Skills in English, Maths, ICT (if required)

The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.50 per hour from the 1st April 2017. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training Your training will be delivered as block release, which will involve extended periods away from home (1 week blocks). The cost of travel and accommodation is met by the employer
