Description

A fantastic and unique opportunity has arisen at FW Urban Gym to start your career as a Fitness Coach. You will receive full training on all equipment and the role will include:

Gym inductions for new members Explaining and demonstrating how to use all the Cardiovascular and resistance equipment.

Gym Maintenance, Cleaning and reporting any faults with equipment.

Gym supervision to assist members with queries and ensure rules adhered to.

Reporting to and working with Fitness Director.

This is an OCR accredited centre. As an Apprentice you will be included on an Active Leisure Qualification, this will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor who will visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and coach the Apprentice and will be observing whilst you work.

Level 2 Active Leisure Apprenticeship Each framework includes a diploma/certificate which shows the practical skills, a technical certificate to confirm the knowledge and understanding and Functional Skills in Maths and English. You will be assessed throughout the apprenticeship and complete the qualification based on the competencies within your job role. You will be assessed by a combination of observations, professional discussion, question and answer sessions and self-study which is required to confirm your knowledge and understanding of the career route you have chosen.
