This is an opportunity to become part of the Renault Apprenticeship programme as a Service Technician. Supported throughout by a dedicated employer - this vacancy is for a 3 year Apprenticeship that will resulting the successful candidate gaining an Advanced Apprenticeship in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. As a Service Technician you would be involved in a variety of tasks ranging from; · Servicing and repairs · Replacing components · Using specialist equipment such as electrical and electronic diagnostics · Engine tuning equipment to measure performance Rectifying faults on customer’s vehicles in a busy Renault workshop
GCSEs (or equivalent) grades A-C in Maths English Science Please ensure you list all your qualifications, as lower grades may be considered
No specific skills required, however an interest in motor vehicles would be beneficial.
Keen and enthusiastic Able to work as part of a team Good time keeping
Permanent role may be considered once apprenticeship has been completed
This is a Service Technician Apprenticeship, training is delivered by block release at the Renault apprentice training centre at Doncaster, S.Yorks. With assessments being conducted in the work place by an assessor. As a result you will receive the following qualification:
Level 3 VCQ & VRQ Certificate in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Functional Skills in English, Maths, ICT (if required)

Training on the Apprenticeships Programme for 16 to 18 year olds is a priority and fully-funded by Government. Training for Apprenticeships for those over this age is part funded, with employers expected to make a part or full contribution.
