With dedicated storage for small items up to cars then the company is able to store all types of items on a regular basis, safe and secure .

The company has strong customer based values , and will go out of their way to ensure the customer is happy with the storage solution that we offer and the service they are give.

We also offer bespoke packing and wrapping services also.A- storage has been involved in taking on apprentices for many years and we are looking to expand our growing admin team and develop a new career for you.

Detailed Job Description

This apprenticeship can be either a L2 or L3 business administration apprenticeship, so if you already have your L2, you can suggest completing the L3.

While completing a Business Administration Apprenticeship, your daily duties will include, but are not limited to;

  • Answering all customer calls and dealing with enquiries over the telephone
  • Front desk duties
  • Meeting and greeting customers
  • Data inputting and database cleansing
  • Invoicing, filing and all general administrative duties.

The working week is Monday to Friday, and there is a Saturday rota and you will be required every other Saturday.

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

There are no qualifications required for this business administration apprenticeship as full training is given throughout the apprenticeship, however, some business experience would be highly advantageous.

Skills required

You must have good communication and timekeeping skills and have the ability to organise your own workload. You will need to have strong literacy skills.

Personal Qualities

You must be dedicated and willing to undertake an apprenticeship programme along with the relevant qualifications and be willing to complete the internal training on offer to support the role.

They are looking for someone with enthusiasm who can work as part of a team.

Future prospects

There may be an opportunity to upskill onto a higher Business Administration Apprenticeship upon completion of the apprenticeship.

We have the ENERGY & EXPERIENCE to give you the EDGE in kick starting your career. Our Learning and Development Coaches will deliver outstanding teaching and learning to help ENERGISE you to complete your apprenticeship training and leave you confident to EXECUTE tasks to the highest standard.

With this apprenticeship you will complete the following qualifications:

  • Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration
  • Functional Skills in Maths, English & ICT
  • Employment Rights and Responsibilities
  • Personal Learning & Thinking Skills

All training will be delivered in the work place with no requirement for day release to college. You will be mentored by experienced members of staff while developing your skills to a nationally recognised industry standard.

The current Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW) is £3.50. This applies to 16 - 18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of the apprenticeship. For all other apprentices, the National Minimum Wage (NMW) appropriate to their age applies. ANMW applies to time spent on the job and time spent training. PLEASE NOTE that candidates who meet the employer's criteria will be put forward for interview as soon as possible.
