Description

Loveders Nursery School is an Ofsted outstanding setting located in Nutbourne, West Sussex, caring for children aged 6 months to 12 years.

Currently we require an enthusiastic, reliable and caring individual to join our friendly team as an Apprentice Nursery Assistant.

As an Apprentice your duties will include;

• caring for children’s emotional, social and personal needs,

• ensuring the environment is clean, safe and engaging

• plan and supervise activities,

• support children’s learning and development,

• ensure all nursery policies and procedures are followed

• communicate with parents/carers regarding their children.

As an Apprentice you will be included on a Childcare Qualification. Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.

Intermediate Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce Each framework includes a diploma/certificate which shows the practical skills, a technical certificate to confirm the knowledge and understanding and Functional Skills in Maths and English. You will be assessed throughout the apprenticeship and complete the qualification based on the competencies within your job role. You will be assessed by a combination of observations, professional discussion, question and answer sessions and self-study which is required to confirm your knowledge and understanding of the career route you have chosen.
