Detailed Job Description

This will be an entry level role split across a generalist HR function with some responsibilities for recruitment across the EMEA region:

HR RESPONSIBILITIES (UK)

  • Manage the HR administration for the London office
  • Setting up personal files and ensure filing is up to date for the London office
  • Creating induction booklets for new starters
  • Provide employment reference letters for current and ex-employees
  • Manage work experience candidates and the onboarding of successful candidates
  • Update and maintain the UK organisational charts
  • Complete HR paperwork and letters for staff when required (such as flexible working agreements, changes to contracts etc) as instructed by HR management
  • Ensure all London staff complete and return mid year and year end reviews
  • Attend disciplinary meetings to take notes
  • Assist with HR related projects as necessary

RECRUITMENT RESPONSIBILITIES (EMEA)

  • Set up VCs/laptop connections for candidates interviewing with overseas offices
  • Meet and greet candidates for junior interviews and show them to the VC room
  • Arrange interviews across EMEA; pinpoint panel availability, room bookings and confirmation emails to candidates
  • Send out candidate tests through our candidate testing site and on email
  • Post job adverts on our website and other job sites as required
  • Any other ad hoc general administrative duties as required

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

Minimum of 2 A levels grade C and 5 GCSEs A*-C including English and Maths or equivalent qualifications

Skills required

Must be computer literate including: Excel, Word, Powerpoint,

Additional Information

Training provided

As a HR Support Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the HR Support Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship, which is aligned with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Upon completion you will be awarded the CIPD Foundation Certificate and you will be able to apply for Associate Membership (Assoc CIPD). The apprenticeship will be delivered through a blend of live online learning, pre-recorded lectures, and face to face inductions and masterclasses.
