We provide a caring , accessible and affordable child- care service for working parents and carers within the community. Afterskoolerz staff are enthusiastic , caring and help create a welcoming , fun, safe and relaxed environment for all children aged 4 - 11 years.

The duties involve collecting children from school and taking them back to the club, the day to day planning of activities, setting up and tidying away of the daily activities, communicating with parents and ensuring that the children are provided with a safe secure and stimulating environment in line with Ofsted requirements.
EYFS is required and the successful candidate will be a key worker with our EYFS children and training will be given. We expect all our staff to complete a full first aid course and safeguarding course within the first few months which will be paid for by the company. We also encourage our staff to take advantage of relevant training course which are available all of which are paid for by the company. The successful candidate will have the option to work hours in the holiday club.
Week days Monday to Friday term time 7.30AM-9.15AM & 2.30PM-6.30PM (Friday afternoons 2pm-6.30pm). Holiday clubs 5- 10 hours per day Week days Monday to Friday 8am-6.30pm
A minimum of A*-D (9-3) in Maths and English GCSE or Functional Skills equivalent
Basic first aid , Health & hygiene and Safeguarding children training preferred but not required
· Competent in using IT to support play and club administration · Ability to work on own initiative · Relevant qualification or willingness to work towards this · Understanding the issues of equal opportunities · Provide and facilitate safe and creative play · Good communication skills · Able to work as part of a team · Sound judgement and common sense Sufficient understanding and use of English to ensure the well-being of the children*

Intermediate Level 2 Apprenticeship in Childcare
