The Business Administration Apprentice will see all aspects of administration in a fast paced environment. Often working to deadlines and playing an integral role in supporting the Fire and Security Maintenance team to better deliver their services across multiple sites. The position will develop the right individual in a variety of administrative tasks; with detailed record keeping also being part of the remit. The ability to multi-task whilst working under pressure will be an essential skill.

Detailed Job Description

With the head office based in Barnstaple, Boden Fire and Security, provides a specialist supply, installation and facilities maintenance service to Ministry of Defence sites and a range of other customers across the South West. The Business Administration Apprentice will see all aspects of administration in a fast paced environment. Often working to deadlines and playing an integral role in supporting the Fire and Security Maintenance team to better deliver their services across multiple sites. The position will develop the right individual in a variety of administrative tasks; with detailed record keeping also being part of the remit. The ability to multi-task whilst working under pressure will be an essential skill. Main Duties: Working with and supporting the Administrator with the following; Booking appointments and scheduling of work for engineers, Ensuring maintenance checks are within Regulations timelines, Checking engineer reports for additional work to be planned. Production of certificates from information provided by engineers  Answering telephone and email enquiries from customers and engineers. Typing of word documents and using excel spread sheet’s, Data entry and filing.

Great organisational skills and ability to multi-task  Responsibility to follow up on required actions  Dealing with confidential information. The person will need excellent communication skills verbally and written. Have a good level of knowledge of Microsoft Office . The ability to independently research is crucial
