Detailed Job Description

We are looking to offer an AAT Apprenticeship at our Charcon Construction Solutions office in Lound, Retford.

Working alongside the office team and management the key responsibilities and deliverables for the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Booking in raw materials and other sundry deliveries onto the system.
  • Matching the delivery note with the corresponding invoice and entering onto the system.
  • Sales invoice processing.
  • Filing away paperwork.
  • Answering and directing incoming calls and enquiries along with general reception duties for example greeting visitors.
  • Provide general administration support to any member of the team as and when required.
  • Assisting with the weekly payroll preparation and maintaining the time and attendance system.

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

A minimum of 5 GCSE’s grade C or above including maths and english

Skills required

Good written English and the ability to build effective working relations are essential for this role. The individual must have a keen eye for detail and be diligent and conscientious in all aspects of their duties. Ideally, candidates will be IT literate and have some knowledge of the industry.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who is highly organised and has the capability to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A strong team player with the ability to work as part of a team, Individuals will also need to be self-motivated, with initiative and have a proactive approach to completing tasks.

Training provided

AAT – Association of Accounting Technicians As an Accountancy Apprentice with Kaplan, you will complete the AAT qualification, of which we deliver Level 2 (Certificate) Level 3 (Diploma) & Level 4 (Diploma). The AAT qualification will be completed at a Kaplan training centre or via the Live Online Learning platform.
