Detailed Job Description
The Successful applicant will support our existing team to care for our 30 residents. We work with vulnerable older adults who require personal care and support on a daily basis. You will be working towards your Level 2 Health and Social Care and will receive full support from the team to achieve your qualification.
The job role is varied but main duties and responsibilities will include:
Working as a professional you will be working as part of a team. You will be learning supported in the working environment.
Building and development of relationships with the residents in your care, colleagues, external agencies and families.
To assist and enable residents to look after their physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual and social needs.
To deliver high quality care promoting dignity and respect to residents.
To be aware of residents care plans and learn how to complete accurately and report changes to senior members of staff.
Encouragement of freedom of choice assisting clients to maintain their individual routines.
To assist with activities which may involve interaction with outside agencies.
To be aware of local policies and procedures and to attend mandatory and specific training as required by the home.
