The business owner started out as a 16 year old apprentice 25 years ago and now he has built up an accountancy firm employing 5 full time employees. Among others, the firm looks after several businesses owned by a Jersey-based charitable trust whose benefactor was knighted for being the UK’s No.1 charitable giver in 2012 by gifting approximately £100m of his wealth to his charitable trust. Terry’s success has proved that apprenticeships do work if you have the right attitude and are willing to work hard!
