Sandall Car Care requires a Paint/Preparation technician to join our team. Applicants must hold or be working towards recognised industry qualifications and have relevant bodyshop experience. Experience of the application of water-based paint is essential. Must be able to prepare panels for paint re-finish as well as be able to polish/finish panels after paint application.

Description

The main duties of this apprenticeship will cover, repairing vehicles that have been damaged. This is likely to involve re-spraying, repairing panels and painting bodywork. Due to the practical nature of this sector, you will be fully trained and supervised as and when required.

You will need to be very practically minded and enjoy using your hands and fixing things.

4 GCSE’s at grades A*- D including Maths and English (or equivalent).

You must achieve a score of at least Level 1 on the online college initial assessments in English, Maths and IT.

You will work towards completing the Level 3 (Advanced) Apprenticeship in Body and Paint. This apprenticeship will be delivered in the workplace.

A full time position may be available upon successful completion of the Apprenticeship.
