  • Searching and checking for the best quote against a variety of policy types
  • Contact insurance companies
  • Organise/prioritise work load
  • Work from a complex excel pricing spreadsheet
  • Maintain very high professional standards.
  • Highly accurate, paying appropriate attention to detail.
  • Speak confidently, clearly and concisely, avoiding jargon.
  • Write clearly, concisely and accurately.
  • Be able to persuade and convince others without appearing passive or aggressive.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and remain positive despite setbacks.

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ideally, previous experience of working in a sales oriented role.

Additional Information

Training provided

Full on-the-job training and support will be provided to enable the successful applicant to undertake the full range of duties required of the role.

In addition, training will also be provided towards the Apprenticeship in Business Administration Level 2 through in house delivery. The Business Administration Level 2 consists of the following:

  • Level 2 NVQ in Business Administration
  • Technical Certificate
  • Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)
  • Functional Skills in Literacy and Numeracy and ICT
