A nursery practitioner plays an important role in assisting in the care and education of young children. You will be planning and organising both fun and educational activities whilst taking care of the children’s personal care requirements.

Duties to include:
Planning and supervision of activities like arts and crafts
Reading stories and providing activities to develop language skills
Feeding and changing of babies and young children
Observing children and taking notes to use in reports
Care and supervision of the children in their physical, emotional and developmental needs
The planning/preparation of activities to meet children’s individual requirements
Grade C or above in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent)
Level 2 NVQ in childcare
Consistency, dedication, and the will to achieve
Applicants should have a desire to develop and enhance their child care skills whilst working in a supportive nursery setting. This role is ideal for anybody who has a genuine passion for working with children and that is keen to learn and progress in their own professional development.The successful applicant will be a positive role model and enthusiastic individual.
The combination of classroom based learning and hands-on work experience will give you a step up into the world of childcare which is highly desirable to future employers.
