Description
Blocc Interiors have an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join their busy buying department.
You will be giving full support to Project Managers in all aspects of the business whilst completing a Business Administration Apprenticeship.
Your duties will include;
•Use of the computer and telephone to place orders
•Use of Microsoft applications
•Work and assist Project Managers with various tasks
•Help prepare for meetings, make tea and coffee
•Get stock from warehouses in different locations
You must be able to think on your feet and have good English and maths skills.
As an Apprentice you will be included on a Business Administration Qualification, this will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor who will visit you on a regular basis, to deliver the training and coach the Apprentice and will be observing whilst you work.

We are looking for someone who is confident to work alone and also work well as part of a team. You must have good spoken and written English and be numerate and be confident using Microsoft applications.
5 GSCE’s A*-C including Maths and English.
Level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship
Apprenticeship standards are aimed at developing skills within the Apprentices’ chosen career route, each standards has set knowledge, skills and behaviours required to be successful within the job role. This will include the completion of functional skills in Maths and English. Once the apprentice has completed a minimum of 12 months training and the employer and Babcock regional trainer confirm they have met all the requirements of the standard they will be put through to end point assessment. The end point assessment is independent from the training and includes a variety of assessment methods which test the skills and knowledge of the apprentice to ensure they are fully competent in their role.
Each Apprentice will be supported throughout the apprenticeship by a structured programme of teaching, e-learning, face to face training and workplace mentoring; this will encourage and help them to meet the requirements of the new standards and will prepare them for the end of point assessment.

There are excellent progression opportunities for the successful candidate to progress as an Assistant Project co-ordinator or Ordering Clerk after completing the initial apprenticeship.
