Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to expand on current skills and progress within the industry. Day to day duties will include;
- Carrying out preventative / planned maintenance checks on production equipment
- Identifying and fixing mechanical faults
- Basic electrical fault diagnosing
- Fine adjusting and resetting of plant equipment
- Calibration
- Cleaning machinery
- Aid with the installation of new equipment
- Updating service records

You will need to be very practically minded who enjoys using their hands and fixing things
- Level 2 Engineering qualification
- GCSE at grade C or above in English (Language) and Mathematics
- You must achieve at least a Level 1 on the college online Initial Assessments in English, Maths and IT.
You will work towards completing the Level 3 (Advanced) Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering.

A full time position may be available after completion of the Apprenticeship
