Working within a team of Maintenance engineers, you will be learning the essential skills to support the continuous running of the machinery to enable constant production in the factory. You will need to be practically minded to be able to diagnose faults and ensure quick and efficient repairs. You will need to be knowledgeable in Health and Safety and be innovative when diagnosing and repairing machines.
NFM IDDON manufactures a wide range of processing machinery and systems including Extruders, Mills, Calenders and ancillary equipment. The original company was established in 1885.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to expand on current skills and progress within the industry. Day to day duties will include;
You will need to be very practically minded who enjoys using their hands and fixing things
Honest, trustworthy, keen to learn, hardworking, reliable, punctual and interested in working in the engineering industry
A full time position may be available after completion of the Apprenticeship
You will work towards completing the Level 3 (Advanced) Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering.
