Autotune Ltd based in Marton, Blackpool are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Light Vehicle Apprentice to join the team. This role would ideally suit an individual who has recently completed or very soon due to complete a Level 2 Motor Vehicle qualification.

They are independent BMW specialists and welcome all makes and models of vehicles including light commercials and fleet vehicles. They supply and fit tyres and carry out MOTs. Rachel oversees the office team, she’s very friendly, dedicated and strives to offer the best customer service at all times. Rachel is qualified in business and personnel -- she’s the ambassador behind Motortune. The engineer team are all qualified, experienced and always on hand to offer advice and assistance where needed.

Detailed Job Description

Interested in training and working within the Automotive Sector? This opportunity will give you the opportunity to learn the skills required when diagnosing and rectifying vehicle defects.

The main duties of this apprenticeship will cover: diagnosing and rectifying vehicle defects, removing and fitting tyres, carrying out basic service checks.

Applications will only be accepted from candidates who have already achieved or very soon due to achieve a Level 2 Motor Vehicle qualification.

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

  • Previous Level 2 Motor Vehicle qualification
  • Candidates must achieve a score of at least Level 1 on the college online initial assessments in English and Maths

Skills required

  • You will need to be very practically minded and enjoy using your hands and fixing things.
  • Must be able to work on own initiative.
  • Good communication skills

Future prospects

A full time position may be available upon completion of the apprenticeship

You will work towards completing the Level 3 (Advanced) Apprenticeship in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
