Working for our growing business you will become a valued team member assisting us with the office administration. Duties will include:

Post

Diary

Management

Using the telephone – incoming and outgoing calls

Typing

Filing

Photocopying

Making job files and site files up

Working as part of a team

Any other administration duties as required.

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

A-C GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent

ECDL Level 2 and admin level 2 is desirable however not essential. If you have a level 2 you will complete a level 3 qualification.

Skills required

Computer literate – Excel, work and email.

Not afraid to muck in when busy

Self-motivated and enthusiastic

Good time keeping is essential

Positive attitude

Good organisation skills

Additional Information

Training provided

The successful applicant will be working towards an Advanced Apprenticeship in Business and Administration. This will include NVQ Level 3, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills.

The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.

Alliance Learning - Learning Provider

Award winning Training Provider, Alliance Learning based in Horwich, Bolton delivers Apprenticeships throughout the North West. They are a Grade 2 OFSTED provider and currently train around 600 apprentices each year. Some of the employers they work with include MBDA and Aptus Utilities to name just a few.
