Detailed Job Description

The key roles and responsibilities of the Trainee Negotiator Apprentice are but not limited to:

  • Advertising properties internally on notice boards and on both the company website and external property websites.
  • Being a point of contact for customers / clients both face to face, over the phone and via email.
  • Local advertising to raise awareness of the business
  • Shadowing and learning from other team members and senior sales negotiators to build experience.
  • Accompanied viewings of properties speaking with potential buyers to sell the benefits of each house and matching their needs to available properties
  • General office admin support to assist with the smooth running of the business.

Skills required

  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car essential ·
  • Confident in speaking with clients face to face and over the phone
  • Good Organisational skills
  • Competent in Microsoft packages
  • To be able to prioritise workloads
  • Good written communication skills

Personal Qualities

Reliable, Confident outgoing personality with the desire to work hard and have an open-minded can-do outlook.

Future prospects

If the correct attitude, work ethic and desire to succeed is shown then full employment at the next level will be offered.

Additional Information

Training provided

Full on-the-job training and support will be provided to enable the successful applicant to undertake the full range of duties required of the role. All apprentices are required to complete and evidence 20% of the job learning whilst on their apprenticeship.

In addition, training will also be provided towards the Apprenticeship in Property Services within the workplace during regular visits with a member of our dedicated team of Training Advisors.

Our Level 2 Property Services Apprenticeship Programme consists of the following:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Property Services
  • Functional Skills in Literacy, Numeracy and IT Level 2 (portfolio & test)
