Customer service is at the heart of our business, and to support this we are currently seeking a business administration apprentice to add to our existing team and help to promote excellence in customer service to both new and existing customers.

Detailed Job Description

The role will involve: Following-up enquiries or contacts for new business, up-selling to existing customers. Operate our standard routing and response processes for enquiries and sales opportunities, making follow-up calls, obtaining requirements, generating quotations, emailing prospects and maintaining our internal customer database etc. and closing business . Gathering customer requirements and matching them to our range of product and service offerings. Following up leads and opportunities that have slipped back, but justify subsequent contact, by both phone and email. your responsibilities will include; Accurately takes verbal enquiries Swift and accurate turnaround from enquiry to order acknowledgement and follow up, either verbal or written Answering calls and directing them to the correct department and taking detailed messages if required.

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

at least 5 A-C standard GCSE passes including English and Maths)

Skills required

Good level of IT capability. qualifications at a good level. (Good written and spoken English. Experienced in data entry/databases and email systems. Personally interested and motivated by matching our products with the customer needs.

Personal Qualities

Confident, polite and articulate telephone manner

The role would ideally suit an ambitious person looking to gain experience in a fast paced business office
