Detailed Job Description

Ownership of critical data presentations for weekly planning discussions between EMEA and NAM logistics teams Dealing directly with upstream suppliers to plan and manage the ordering and pull in of products, to ensure sales order fulfilment is maintained Maintenance of stock tracking / planning profiles using a combination of excel and our bespoke ERP. This aids in long term viewing of stocking plans to ensure continuity of supply. Providing regular reports on inventory, shipments and sales for this department and beyond, in order to provide a quick reference point on historical data, feeding into our trend analysis analytics. Maintenance of QBR files for each supplier, providing managerial views on supplier performance, to be readily available for ad hoc requirements as well as scheduled meetings.

Qualifications required

Well-developed excel skills are critical Standard GCSE / A level requirements Good communications skills, ability to present data comfortably

Skills required

Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Packages (Excel, Outlook, Word etc). Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Punctual with great time management. Ability to organise and prioritise workload.

Personal Qualities

Must have ability to manage a high workload in a structured, timely manner Attention to detail is critical, on reports that will be seen by ELT level Ability to manipulate excel datasheets, and recompile data into easy to understand formats Working knowledge of reporting tools, such as cognos and/or salesforce is desirable Knowledge of supply chain practices would be beneficial but not critical.

Upon completion this could lead to a full time vacancy.

Training provided

Learner will receive training 1 day a week at Nelson and Colne College to work towards an apprenticeship. On the job training will be provided by the employer.
