Your day-to-day tasks could include:
storing and controlling stock
using a scale
weighing and packing
knife skills
manual handling
cleaning
receiving deliveries and checking their content and hygiene
moving meat stock to cold storage
cutting, boning and trimming meat

4 GCSE’s at Grades A-D, or equivalent.
Must attain a Level 1 on the initial assessment at College.
NVQ Level 2 in Meat and Poultry
Functional Skills Level 1 Maths and English
Reliable, punctual, hardworking, keen to learn, can work well within a team.
Must be physically fit as there is a lot of lifting involved.
Will lead to a permeant position on completion of Apprenticeship.
