Detailed Job Description

By the end of your apprenticeship, you will have gained a qualification and invaluable clerical skills and experience, including high-level attention to details in an office – things other people might overlook, confidence in answering and keeping track of emails, tracking appointments, and more.

Location: near Green Park underground station, London.

Full job description (including responsibilities)

  1. Maintain a clean, orderly and representative office in the firm’s meeting room floor. This also includes responsibility for maintaining the entrance, office meeting rooms, office landscape, kitchen and other facilities to a high standard.
  2. Receive office visitors politely providing them with drinks as appropriate. Ensure that attendees utilise the correct rooms and that GP Bullhound employees are notified their visitors have arrived.
  3. Place orders for office supplies and ensuring the correct items are received. This includes but is not limited to stationery, fruit, coffee and water supplies.
  4. Work in close collaboration with the PA team and provide support to the firm’s events.

Hours are 9 am to 5:30 pm, Monday-Friday.

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

Five GCSE grades C – A* (or 4-9), including Maths and English. Ideally, we are looking for recent school leavers and non-graduates for the role.

Skills required

  1. Highly organised and very strong administrative skills.
  2. Able to work under sustained pressure and to tight deadlines.
  3. Determination, Interpersonal Skills, Attention to Detail.

Personal Qualities

Well-organised, A ‘can do’ attitude.

Future prospects

A full-time opportunity may be available if the candidate excels in the role.
