As a carpentry apprentice you will work under the supervision of a carpenter and will use your practical ability and co-ordination skills to help the carpenters with a range of tasks on and off site, whilst developing your wood work knowledge.
Carpentry and joinery. Majority of work is private/non-contract, staircase refurbishment, kitchen fitting, bespoke furniture, doors, skirting, architraves, windows, repairs. Location – Cambridgeshire Environment – on site, residential/business premises

Programme Duration: 2 years

Your main role will involve constructing, installing, finishing and repairing wooden structures on both commercial and residential buildings. With close mentoring support you will work with wooden structures, duties will include:-
Subject to completion of the two year programme and achievement of the level of skills required, a permanent position would be offered.
You will be required to attend a pre-interview at Peterborough Regional College.
